Oh cruel life, I was so full of hope, why did you tear me down? Was it my lust for life? Was I too innocent? I longed to bring life to the world and yet it evades me. My honey, my love, is spent. Does he no longer desire me as he once did? He says he does but I doubt. I doubt much now I didn’t before. Even that I deserve love at all.
