Poems are stupid because they are just words
Poetry isn't just words...
It's an expression
Of feeling
For some an escape from a bad reality
Its words without speaking
Life without breathing
Its a part of the poets soul
Every letter standing for something
It is the deepest part of writing
The true form of words
That cannot be spoken
In sensible wording
An action could mean less
Than these poems
A gesture of love
Is not complete without words
A song wouldn't be complete
So yes,
I do believe that poetry is important
To those who care a much as me...

My brother told me poetry is stupid and doesn't matter, he doesn't know how hard it is to keep a poem locked up in your mid when you don't have a pencil and I think he should learn from a poets view, I hope he realizes what it means to some people...
