i am no haiku expert so please accept what i say with a grain of salt.  first, the syllable cound is right 5-7-5.   if you meant fist instead of first, that makes the poem a lot more interesting to me.   i picture someone pumping their fist in the air excited by a sports moment perhaps or a rock concert, comparing such experiences to the feeling you get with drugs.  sensate overload supports the comparison making it more thought provoking.  It could also be seen as comparison between the natural high achieved by appreciating natures wonders & a drug or sports experience.  if that is the case, that would be the connection to nature that i part of traditional haiku (as far as i understand it but like i say, my knowledge is limited)
