Don't fall for her they said, you'll get hurt they emphasized, she's not worth your heart they shouted ,I trust her that was my mistake their advice just couldn't crack the shield her lies she sold me...
I took a gamble knowing I'm going to lose it all for the chance to give my heart what it longed for but so far away was the truth and the words she told me...
I was there for her entertainment my tears were nothing but the credits no one saw now I fish for something better in the river she poured out of me ...
Spoke my emotions hoping she'd hear me but she only heard what her mind could comprehend and my heart was compressed in a place no man could ever come close too...
So I sit and listen to the silent advice I was never given begging father time to take me back to the first encounter but I lay on the bed I made and keep to myself...
And deep down I wonder why they didn't tell me not to fall for her or that I'll get hurt or even that she's not worth it and I would have avoided trusting her...
