i regret meeting you
and listening to what you had to say
i regret not listening to myself
because i decided
to follow the screams in my head
i regret not talking to a friend
when she needed someone the most
i regret having too much caffine
or else i may have had
decent sleep for once in my life
i will regret typing this poem
as i do with anything else i write
i will regret staying up late
to type on these keys
and produce words which will have
no meaning to me
because I did not think much
before i typed
