Weeks and days Spent in the haze Trying to find who I was When a man spoke in my ear With words calm and clear I would not find myself where I searched I was without not within I thought with a grin Which is why peace eluded me The truth unimpaired Spoke by one who cared Saved me from my own thoughts And though from Adam They know me not I hope they know The good they've brought Though it may not feel that way In these current darker days
