I have heard that for people born on Friday the 13th all superstitions are reversed.  Black cat crossing your path brings good luck etc.  I was born on Thursday the 13th....... darn.

My classroom was 13.  It was the number on my father' ambulance that he drove in WW2.  He considered it lucky.  I agree the fear is bullpucky.
