Your shining gift; the sound of light;   My sight of hope; our joy; your song. My life seemed before a slowing death,   Your heart changed me; I do belong. Lost was I in day's dispair;   Lost beyond the starlight's end. My heart enclosed in ice like rock,   Cruel years, gone past, had hardened. Alone, I had never sought before,   To guess the name which angel's send; One of strength and courage;   One of bliss and of content; One of giving and of founding;   One of desired, best intent. I had never desired meaning,   I thought myself near no divine. Forever changed, I seek to chase,   The name your song might shine. It might not be, but I still hope,   An angel sings out yours and mine. Envisioned now, your untold beauty,   Dares me to fly towards the Sun. I heard soft notes begin to move me,   Felt joy rise up and tears soon run. In these new lands, of shaping dreams,   Old Self was shown ablaze. New Self reborn, with only you,   To break through rock and haze. You melted down the frozen cage;   That stronghold closed by ice. And I swore then, I'll be your prince,   My heart within your vise. For free from binds of melancholy,   Your flame will warm to heal my heart. I seem more whole, I feel less empty,   The stars no longer far apart. The early tweets from morning birds;   They celebrate in thrall. The petal's dance, on playful winds;   They wait upon their fall. The moon's silent shout, commanding waves to form;   An irresistable and domineering, lover's routine call. These golden sounds of nature's gifts   Enchant me now, no longer. The sounds of man, machines or drums   Have dulled from greatest wonder. All else quiet; you pulled me close, And sang of soft embrace's lift. With clarity I'm guided higher   To answer this, your simple wish; Your wish to find the only one;   Your soul's true perfect pitch; Your Shining Light; The Angel's Song;   The Sound of Love; Your Gift.
