Eat your crumpled sweater Drink sweat from in my mind Close up all those new ideas And still feel empty inside Do not sit beside me Do not claim my time I've never had your gifts or treasures But I'd give them up for empty rhymes Open up my final will And read between the lines Or cross crooked through the origin of bellyaches and sighs Heal my laughter Ringing chimes A thousand equals zero And nothing that is mine Who would know what started in sadness would finish like a bee in a bottle of wine? Trying to tempt our ticking time Gold and silver rusting Today I crawled through a broken fantasy And looked for light on every side Do not say you'll try to love me; we both believe you when you lie

To Whomever I Can't Concern
