They flash in the dark Travelling through the skies. A pleasant thing to see, For my dreadfully tired eyes. I wonder where they end up, For in real they aren't stars May be some of them might just crash into the land of Mars? Still they give me A tiny ray of hope Does wishing to a shooting star really work? May be yeah, may be nope. Anyways, that idea is quite dope.

Shooting Stars
They flash in the dark Travelling through the skies. A pleasant thing to see, For my dreadfully tired eyes. I wonder where they end up, For in real they aren't stars May be some of them might just crash into the land of Mars? Still they give me A tiny ray of hope Does wishing to a shooting star really work? May be yeah, may be nope. Anyways, that idea is quite dope.
Though I've never seen a shooting star till now, I thought about these lines as I looked at the night sky in search of an orb of light in the dark. But, alas. The atmosphere today, especially in the cities is so polluted that even seeing the moon is a big thing. I hope some day this will change. ©2018, Shooting Stars by Kaumudi.
