The yellow man laughed when you came. Too many distractions; a broken mirror and a broken hand, an unrelated coincidence. We've burned the bridges ahead of time, left stranded on the wrong side. Told to run forward, but life played in reverse. Reverse in reverse is still reverse; repeating the past while looking ahead.

The Vibrations of the D String
The yellow man laughed when you came. Too many distractions; a broken mirror and a broken hand, an unrelated coincidence. We've burned the bridges ahead of time, left stranded on the wrong side. Told to run forward, but life played in reverse. Reverse in reverse is still reverse; repeating the past while looking ahead.
