I heard this as though from an old man or an older man, I heard this from a woman...who cares, from a mother or sister...I also heard it from the self.  Marvelous...I could put this to music, make it a song...a good rootsy folk blues.  This is a marvelous piece.  I LOVE IT.

Nice format and content.  I always like to see effort in developing rhyme.  I often use a ryhming dictionary 'Poet Assistant' on my cell to make sure I have all possible rhymes at my fingertips as the poem develops.  I'm sure Parkland crossed your mind as your poem was coming together.
