Summertime, your love was pure Like the sun you were not afraid to share your warmth Your warmth- a radiating, smouldering heat between every sheet Autumn came and I could see us fall Fall out of love. Every leaf- a teardrop on the floor I knew our love was no more Winter froze my heart For it was then when I missed you most Like an iceberg we drifted far apart Spring held promises of a new beginning A beginning without you For it was you that made me see That I cannot love, before I start loving ME.
