Today I won.
The war inside me is over.
I've lost so many battles;
But the war is won.
And I celebrate.
Today I saw you. For the first time since Spring Break. Still beautiful as ever. My heart rate jumped, but only a little this time.
I felt no anguish. No anger. No destain. I only feel peace.
I feel peace.
And I've let you go.
