no contacts, I'll remember
unmemorized, family numbers
I know exactly where I left it
on the dresser, in the bedroom

That job offer, may be today

The big band, wanting all my lyrics
no response to their calls
I'm sad as hell, couldn't be, any glummer
But most of all, that lady I adore
unable to get a hold of me
and I won't get, that hummer
