Your talk has always been cheap, Its been the same song and dance for far too long, I've lost too much time and sleep. I should have known better.... I should have known better, Known better to believe the same old lies.. I should of known better, Never seeing truth in your eyes. I should have known better, better than to come back time and time again. I should of known better, known that with all the disloyalty, we could never start again. I should have known better, known the lies would never end. I should have known better, known we could never be friends. I should have known better, known our family could never be one. I should have known better, known our future could never be begun. Its my mistake for knowing that I should have known better.. Its my mistake for making two children with you, but not raising them together. I should have known better than to give you another.. At least our daughter gets a little brother. I should have known better, Known you wouldn't stick around. But now I know better.. know to bury this relationship deep in the ground. And I wont lose anymore sleep, Your no longer welcome around.
