comfort you,
make you feel loved
again at this moment
of such great loss.
I want to touch and heal
your brokenness,
To take away your tears,
your pain,
your sadness,
I want to help you heal.
I know you want to be left alone,
Just let me be here
by your side in silence
To share with you this
broken-barenness of
such great sorrow.
I understand your predicament,
your confusion,
your hopelessness,
But I know i can never enter,
understand or know how
that makes you feel.
All i ask is for you to let
me touch you with this
balm of Gilead to soothe your pain,
your heartache
and to help you heal.
For surely everything heals in time.
My presence is all you need
even at this moment when
