The innocence of a touch of the hand My heart turning flips as I go to stand A dream about you I can’t understand I’d dream it over, and over, if you only knew. I haven’t felt feelings like this in a year or two, So isn’t it curious that they return with you. It can’t be attraction, no it cannot be. All positive emotions have left my body. I suppose I will have to wait and see, If anything comes from what’s between you and me. It could be nothing, I wouldn’t be surprised. No one could like what lies behind my eyes. At least you can’t see through my disguise.
