On a cold night
After a long day
Back here
Wishing she was miles away
Whispers of the wind
Hiding her tears
Caught in a haze
Wishing to go ablaze
She wipes her eyes
Used to disguise
Her kids play scrabble
While she sets the table
Lost in her thoughts
While dinner is running it’s course
Today is long gone
But tomorrow is a new run
