I stare through a forest of thorns, War wages, clashing. Yet no sound reverberates. All is muffled. Silence. Nails drive into my brain, Numbing cacophony shakes my soul. Mind and heard now divided, My existence begins to shake. Debate ensues. Thoughts, screaming louder than one another Tearing their way through my mind. What of me is left behind? Shreds of my being float into space. My mind escapes itself The Universe behind me wans. There I stay forever With my body left behind.
