I don't know why people think it's impossible to do both. Social media has helped me survive through my inability to leave the house because of my health. I met my best friend from Sri Lanka online, and people can laugh at 100 memes a day and still have time to smile. No-one is on their phone or iPad as much as people think they are if they think there's no more connection in the world. And it's sad that people overlook the endless benefits and possibilities because they'd rather think people are just shallow.
