pots and pans about
and moaned to herself

to your room
and shut the door

and lay on your bed.

on this bed
a week or so ago

doing things

pop from his head
and his jaw
dropped like
a dead donkey's tool.
You kissed your arm
pretended it was Mary
she lying there
beside you
her snugly body
close to yours.
Downstairs
the slamming
of doors.
