Sometimes, In a heavy stillness, Between sleep and waking, When I am yet unsure, Of conscious thought, You creep into secret corners, That I have sealed from day, Coaxing dormant my memories awake, Faded photographs in old picture frames, Lying in dormant dream, inside corridors of my mind, Unsought moments tease, I hear your laughter, Seeing knotting flowers in your hair, Tucking petals beneath, I feel your fingertips, Lightly touch my face, When words were lost, In sighs caresses, Your sweet lips taste, Still lingering on mine.
