do you know, when and why?
colours splash
across the horizon
when the young girl
in love is blue
and says
I love you
you are mine
violet and indigo
envy blue
envy brings sorrow
and the green and yellow
fear the orange
which turns red
when the girl dismayed
her smile twisted
aching heart
tearing apart
between right and wrong
sky turns white
and the rainbow is gone
