Sit down, have a drink Take a minute to contemplate and think Whispers of different auras Have the power to create and destroy us Turning admiration to white lies... I got not time for love songs No time to focus on what's wrong Come on, count your blessings Especially when things get heavy Remember those forgotten dreams Closing my eyes counting one, two, three Fate, let's play hide-and-seek. Find me Toast to a new generation, a new age To the passing by of night and day Who cares about limitations? Not scared of getting a little dangerous Fear is my best friend Actually, more like my servant I wonder what happens tomorrow Breathing bliss, exhaling sorrow I'll face head on... I got not time for love songs No time to focus on what's wrong Come on, count your blessings Especially when things get heavy Remember those forgotten dreams Closing my eyes counting one, two, three How about another day, Death? I'm not done yet They say our destinies are written in the stars It's up to us on how we use our hearts I see billions of faces Having a habit of making observations I see ten times more lights From a passion to fight For much more than their own lives Sometimes I wanna go back to the days Of shooting paper airplanes Of wading in the sky Not caring about life Or when we'll die I got not time for love songs No time to focus on what's wrong Come on, count your blessings Especially when things get heavy Remember those forgotten dreams Closing my eyes counting one, two, three I'm free? I got not time for love songs No time to focus on what's wrong Come on, count your blessings Especially when things get heavy Remember those forgotten dreams Closing my eyes counting one, two, three Tell me... I got not time for love songs No time to focus on what's wrong Come on, count your blessings Especially when things get heavy Remember those forgotten dreams Closing my eyes counting one, two, three Just take a chance to believe.

A Change in Sight (Written as a Song)

As noted earlier, this was supposed to be written like a song. This poem/song is kind of like a refresher to the moods and tones of all the poems I've written so far, which mostly has a dark and lost feel. I hope this was enjoyable.
