I don't remember all of the words
hell, I don't remember most times
places and things set adrift into space
but your face, I remember just fine
I don't remember parties or birthdays
hell, I don't remember cake and presents
what I ate for breakfast last Wednesday
but God knows, I remember your scent
I don't remember the food and the groceries
hell, it's at least two to three trips to the store
but I'll never forget, what happened that day
that day, you walked out the door

Inspired by TWD for this one. Dwight, a minor char is thrown into turmoil over his wife facilitating Daryl's escape. Then the note, which I found the most poignant part of the show, showed not only her emotion, but Dwight's, throwing the doctor away, to protect her escape.
:D True, it really wasn't his sacrifice, but he won't remember it, only that she's gone...
