For long of years its been known and feared by not just a few.
So they passed laws to hinder you.
Keep you in the dark from being educated and seen as smart.
And as times went by they faced their fears that a educated black man would only expose the skills they never had.
To this day they cries loudly of the knowledge black man.
Afraid that what they don't know?
Again, would be exposed when in a knowledge test.
Thurgood Marshall, rose to the challenge and greater heights.
Malcolm X, finally known as Shabazz came from nothing to be a shining star.
Charles "Blood Plasma" Drew left his mark upon us.
And hosts of others too.
When knowledge is before you to learn?
Learn it, apply it and watch many fear you.
President Obama, when in office made many in Congress be seen as fools.
A slave never was given opportunity to branch further.
But you have all forms of opportunities to be seen as a king.
Educate yourself black man and many will see the best in you.
