have all the fun you want-- sleep in the clothes you wore the day before-- you'll have to rise and wait for them to rise-- you'll have to sit there in the dark and know what's coming next-- because soon enough you'll be in a car headed for home-- and soon enough you'll be looking out the window-- and how the meadows will churn into a blur-- how the sun will shine so bright to make you sick-- and all over again you'll be re-living that piece of **** childhood-- just wanting to be dumped off where they're going to dump on you some more-- and you'll want to go all the way back, back to where you are now-- in the dark listening to them breathe their slow and tired breaths-- it is yesterday for all they know, it is tomorrow for all they care-- they are dead to the world as you should be-- but instead you are imagining what it will be like to be "home"-- and all you want to do is freeze time, as lousy as it is right now in the dark--
