As the ship moves farther from the shore, The captain's eyesight starts to strain, To see the port where they spent most of their days. Once out at sea they are too busy, To think of days they spent with the people, They left behind. On their final day, Before they turn around to head to shore, They start to remember the ones they love, As they long for the shore, They spent forgetting, While on the sea chasing their dreams.
