haikus are such a fascinating form of poetry. the idea of 'a breath' of writing has always intrigued me. i loved the originality here of eyeglasses linked to wetland, the sense of movement suggested by the 'footmarks' which left the impression of walking and then the idea of the sea sweeping everything away. very lovely and restful on the mind.
