It's cold, numbing I'm old enough to know The snow is no playground Carry on if you're gonna go The brightest stars exploded a million years ago Darling, if you would be so kind As to put me to sleep as you go Because I am cold and numb But still awake as you know Will you please put me to sleep If you're packing your bags for the last time I've seen everything If I've seen the last of you So darling, if you would be so kind As to put me to sleep No more promises to keep

Put me to sleep
It's cold, numbing I'm old enough to know The snow is no playground Carry on if you're gonna go The brightest stars exploded a million years ago Darling, if you would be so kind As to put me to sleep as you go Because I am cold and numb But still awake as you know Will you please put me to sleep If you're packing your bags for the last time I've seen everything If I've seen the last of you So darling, if you would be so kind As to put me to sleep No more promises to keep
