To never hear your soft voice
asking me not to leave.
To never feel your eager hands,
brush my cheek
as you pull me closer
to kiss.
To forget the shape of your eyes.
The smell of your skin.
The taste of coffee on your lips,
early in the morning.
The sound of us laughing, while the rest of the world sleeps.
Us, together, alone
silently listening to the rhythm of each others body.
To feel the emptiness I felt in my heart,
long before you entered it.
And when I think of fear,
I think of loosing you
and it simply tears me a part.
