Just me my noose and my whisky Double check the noose double check it's not too lose The room is getting misty If All this is just God testing my faith I think it's time to loose this case. Prosecuted by a mistake produced thousands of years ago what the hell does this half to do with me for Heavens sake.   Oh, how I want to be grateful for the life I was given It's hard to be grateful for the life I'm living. Why is it so hard to give up something that was never mine. I ask the sun when will it all be fine the it replies son in due time. As I step out onto the ledge my thought changes to maybe never mind. Would hope be produced by a step forward or a step back. The wisdoms to these questions my sober mind lacks. These tears kidnap my vision. These Diamonds choose not to shine. These pearls are a slave to the waves as I stare into this puddle of oil it comes to me that none of these emotions are mine.
