You have caught me at an awkward point in my existence; I am a sun Devoid of celestial satellites Yet despite my lack of purpose I continue to radiate into the darkness I am a piper Who has played unto his own deafening I can no longer sense my creation Yet I continue to play melodies into the night I am a desert Without mirage or oasis I hang onto the belief that I may still be fruitful Although I wander lost within my barren self
