With water, I forget my thirst, With light, I don’t remember the dark, In joy, I have no memory of loneliness, In hope, I ask, “What is despair?” Then, I recollect them again Like shells from a beach, Until I release them back into the ocean With freedom and a smile.

Shells From A Beach
With water, I forget my thirst, With light, I don’t remember the dark, In joy, I have no memory of loneliness, In hope, I ask, “What is despair?” Then, I recollect them again Like shells from a beach, Until I release them back into the ocean With freedom and a smile.
