Today I looked into the mirror 
Saw a little glimmer 
Of hope
Even though 
I know 
Right now it looks like I have none

I just had five teeth pulled
Out of my skull
I know I look real ugly
But I'm looking at the future

I will need to wear braces
I get them in two weeks 
But at least nobody can tease me
For being so **** fugly!

They can't taunt my teeth 
Because I'm finally getting them fixed

Getting braces isn't so bad at all! I had them for about three years and it changed my entire face (in a good way). I gained so much confidence even after having them on just a few months. You can do this and the good news is that it won't last forever! :)

I agree with BE McComb. I had braces for about two years, first the fixed one and then the ones you could take off. They did feel a little frustrating off and on but they were not so bad at all and as you said, your teeth are getting fixed! Good for you!!

I had braces for two years of my high school life. One tip: Don't choose a dark purple because it makes you look like you've got black parts on your teeth!
