Maybe I should live a shallow life
Where I can be oblivious
And allow myself no depth
So I don't have to feel
Maybe I should live a superficial life
Where I can simply look pretty
And impress people with my eyes
So I don't have to feel
It must be easy to float through life
And live a half life
Where I may never feel.
