Billing pages of times past kept And times still yet to come Hold precious thoughts of love gained and lost And mistakes that can't be undone. Billing pages each numbered Like the days that number life, Count joy and sorrow, yesterday and tomorrow, Every day and every night. Billowing pages kept in chapter Tell the story of a day When hearts where yet unbroken And nightmares went away. Billing pages all that's left Of what once used to be, Everything that made life worth living Now just pages of memory.
