In our helpless state, in our longings In every thought and all that we say Lord Jesus, we need you, we need you To guide and protect us, help us and show The way we should go every day, in every way You alone know the thoughts that we have The way that we live and the way that we Talk and all that we do should be a witness To you, you are our Lord, our comfort and hope Longing for peace and a world filled with love Lord Jesus, rejoice to see the way we love you In the things that we do and the way that we live Lord Jesus, we need you and we look up to you For strength for the day and peace in our land Prone before you in prayer for your power The way that you show how to live and rule over us Lord Jesus, in our humble state may we be cleansed Offering all that we have to be an offering in all that we are Longing for you and believing that you are all that we need Lord, we praise and worship before you Grateful for all that you do for us, Jesus Helping us be aware how much we need you By: Leona Chaput

Lord, We Need You
