The heart is deceiving Mine told me "Fly into the sun on your wings of wax Over the ocean and watch it dance Before it fades away forever" Now maimed by the sun that I tried to follow This ocean's so wide, how'd I fall to the shallows? But I will rise Up again From these broken wings If your soul of wax Can take my heart of glass And mend every piece Fall fall Icarus fall fall Icarus fall Into this ocean we call love Fall fall Icarus fall fall Icarus fall Your wings have given up If am drowning Then love must be an ocean If love is an ocean Then I must be Icarus If I am Icarus Then I must be drowning
