i find it offensive that people are so enamored with their popularity that they must orchestrate this type of campaign in a vain effort to crush their perceived competition...the lies and disinformation are scurrilous and slanderous at best...in as much as i am reading the poetry of those poets here whom i enjoy, i dare not like them or comment on them as it has been proven that this group goes after them with tantrums and threats and insults for having been followed or read by me......on the other side of that coin, and the genuine issue , is the annoying fact that people are scared to comment on or like my work for the same reasons.....for someone to brand me a lunatic and other scandalous things simply to garner interest in their pages and to defame others is not conducive to a healthy poetry community ... no name calling, no insults, no vulgarities....just truth.

To Eliot York And The Poets Of Hello Poetry


I have been on this website since 2012.  In the last four years I have learned so much, been inspired by so many people, and also have been given the opportunity to become friends with many people, and close friends with a few. For this I will always be thankful.

There has been a shadowy malignancy infecting this website, so much so that Poets feel unsafe here.  Woody aka r and a few other brilliant Poets have been under a deluge of assaults from a few other members.  They have been violated (I know that sounds like a powerful word but it truly is a violation) on many levels, from writing (which by the way is impeccable) to character assaults, to being personally threatened.

I don't know how long he (Woody) has been on this (once fantastic website) but I know it is longer than I have.  He has been a constant source of encouragement to me both as a person, and as a writer.  I know there are many, many, more he has encouraged.

In closing, I would like to challenge you all to think about that.  Do you think it is right, that an unstable lunatic be allowed to continue a campaign of hate?  Is that something you would be proud of?  We are all Hello Poetry.

I recently wrote a poem called "It Takes Courage To Be A Coward", but now I see it takes just as much courage to stand up to evil.

Quin, did I not apologize and withdraw from all of this? Why am I still seeing my name mentioned in your comments? I don't want to see my name used by you anymore, what I want is for you to leave me and my friends alone. You started this when you decided to be suspicious of me, and ruined our friendship, and that's all there is to it. But that's over now, I'm not bothering you, so why do you insist on talking about me like I'm nothing?
