I am not this flesh and bone I am the tall trees that ever grow I am the rivers that mightily flow I am the winds that howl and blow I am the sunshine's unyielding glow this form of man that you see is simply, truly not the real me I am the mountain whom none can leap I am the valley that time digs deep I am the rain that over these lands do weep I am the birds, the beasts, the things that creep I am what I say, what I dream, or keep I am what I hope for when at last I sleep In this place where never I weep.
