You are acid rain A Gaseous ghost Gripping Grasping Groping The living The breathing Tugging at heartstrings Haunting my thoughts While the fallout of our tormented youth Remains buried among glory days The time of our lives Marred by rutted rusted reunions Memories covered in mud of melancholy madness Along with the innocence of childhood dreams Secrets shared Shattered Time flies Torments Old friend Where are you now? Are you still running? Perhaps you never moved But drifted away By standing still… ©~Travis
