I longed for a sleep so deep that forever more I can remain in my dreamland. I craved the bite of metal against my skin and the resulting crimson tide that lets me know I'm still alive. and when I could no longer bear the burden of my own heartbeat as it thumped against my chest so hard, longing to jump out of my skin, it left a scar I turned to you.
