grief is the palpable presence in railway stations.

this made me think of all those romantic movie scenes (especially in the classic old films - you know the good stuff) where the two lovers part.

I'm a sucker for trains and train stations.

Interesting! In my youth trains were magic carpet rides away from dreary workdays on the farm.
