her head wilted into the crook of his shoulder- waiting to be taken apart for diagnostics. the circuitry was buzzing quietly. only the blue lights and one orange switch were left blinking. outside the window, things were trembling billions of years away. outside the window- the vacuum drank slowly from what was left inside. they had arrived at destination.whatever that means. she didn't look up. he couldn't.
