He stood in the water Hearing its creatures cry as the sludge filled them on every side Coming to him ti say goodbye, turning back to die He touches each as they pass with hands smooth as glass He turns his head to land knowing this is the work of man all the sludge upon the sand the abused power of man He kneels down close to shore his voice becomes a roar making all the birds soar The sky darkened the trees went silent He could not believe Man had gone so wrong

The Water Is Mine
He stood in the water Hearing its creatures cry as the sludge filled them on every side Coming to him ti say goodbye, turning back to die He touches each as they pass with hands smooth as glass He turns his head to land knowing this is the work of man all the sludge upon the sand the abused power of man He kneels down close to shore his voice becomes a roar making all the birds soar The sky darkened the trees went silent He could not believe Man had gone so wrong
