I plan on writing you a letter Simply to explain That I never really existed anyways So you can't actually miss me When I'm gone All of my possessions Become a bonfire One last warmth I'll feel I'll imagine your skin again As I destroy the last trace of me I'll take the sheets of my life Stained by various parts of my inky soul Read each poem one last time And cast it into flame That my words die when I do I'll write a you a letter If only to explain And then I'll burn that too
