And if I'm being honest
I just haven’t been feeling okay
Wish I could tell you why
Something I can’t describe myself
Tears put me to sleep last night
But that’s alright
I’m used to it now
I thought morning would come
And I would forget what I felt yesterday
But it didn’t
The morning light only illuminated my demons
And shone on my flaws
In the mirror I saw
My greatest enemy
So I tried to fight it
The battlefield was me
By afternoon I lost
A war that was me
The sun went down
And so did I
So I hid in the shadows,
And slowly died…
