I wonder how it would be If all of us could see The tears that hide, behind the eyes Of the girl in the magazine The one that yearns For us to glean That she is more Than the girl in the magazine She has thoughts And feelings too And longs for love As most people do But she's told by others not to worry And not to get in such a flurry For things come easy to a tiny waist And girls that have a pretty face Maybe we should learn to look At people without a glare Maybe looking at people closer And giving a good stare Perhaps then we would see the truth In the eyes of society's deemed That there's no such thing as a perfect life And nothing is what it seems
